Our “I Need Help” Advocacy Card was designed by carers for carers... it is a simple, discreet communication tool for moments when speaking feels difficult, unsafe or impossible. The card provides a clear way to show others that help is needed, with a dedicated section for who to contact, important support information and what the person may need in that moment. Compact enough to keep in a purse, wallet or lanyard, it offers a quick way of connecting to someone without words and helps others respond calmly, safely and with understanding.

Feedback from our community of testers!

"As a lone mum, I was in tears writing this because I never go anywhere without the card now. I keep one in the car, one in my purse and one on my phone. When my child is in meltdown, I often cannot speak or explain what is happening, and this card has helped protect us from so many difficult and frightening situations."

Claire

"This card gives me a way to ask for help without having to find the words. In stressful moments, I can show it and people know who to contact and how to support us."

Sue
"It has made a huge difference when I am out with the child I care for. If a situation escalates, the card explains what is needed quickly and helps others respond calmly instead of judging."

John
