Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Professional Training & Support

We offer 'FASD Informed(TM)' training; specialist courses, consultation, and resources designed to help your team to become 'FASD Responsive(TM).Together, we strive to create a more compassionate environment for those impacted by the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum.

 

We support Ofsted & CQC in cascading good practice techniques in raising the quality of understanding and supporting children and adults with prenatal alcohol exposure through Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) & its 328 co-occurring conditions. Our training initiatives, align with the NICE Quality Standards for FASD, empowering professionals to respond effectively to the unique needs in both children and adults.

We are experienced in the delivery of high quality training encompassing a variety of methods and approaches, including face-to-face sessions, live online learning, blended learning, and practical skills training.

 

Providing a strong reputation in the field of quality delivery to multi disciplinary sectors including (but not exclusively) the NHS, social care, mental health services, therapeutic support, clinical, educational psychology, education (alternative, primary, secondary, Further & Higher Education), Virtual School, designated teachers, SENCo & the criminal justice system. 

Delivered through an 'FASD Informed' highly qualified multi disciplinary team from neurodiversity, lived experience, education, clinical health, legal and social care sectors.

​We know that people with severe neurodevelopmental conditions like Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and their families, benefit hugely when effective, committed organisations work together. ​

 

At the heart of everything we do we have a focus on providing a bespoke offer by listening to the voices of the community we serve.

 

We are committed in forming and sustaining partnerships in building a network of organisations both from within and outside the FASD field to ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone impacted by the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE).

We believe that children, young people, adults, and families impacted by FASD should be active participants in directing their own lives and shaping their communities.

 

As a result, we have a proven track history in working to engage, inform and empower families to be the best advocates for themselves and others...
